Albanese flees Australia during cost-of-living crisis to attend expensive COP summit in Turkey

Shadow Energy and Emissions Reduction Minister Dan Tehan says Prime Minister Anthony Albanese should stay in Australia and focus on cutting government spending rather than travelling to the COP summit in Turkey. “The sad reality is there is no need for him to go to COP in Turkey. He should be back here focusing on how he can cut government spending,” Mr Tehan told News24 host James Macpherson. “Why does the Prime Minister need to go to Turkey other than to hold Chris Bowen's hand? “It is just absurd that he's going rather than concentrating on spending.”
