Shadow Energy and Emissions Reduction Minister Dan Tehan accuses Energy Minister Chris Bowen of wasting taxpayer money on COP while Australians in Queensland face serious water shortages. “The priorities are just completely and utterly wrong,” Mr Tehan told News24 host James Macpherson. “The fact that Chris Bowen is happy to spend over $150 million on this COP talkfest while people are going out without drinking water … just shows you how wrong the priorities of this government are. “The sooner Chris Bowen just apologises to the Australian taxpayer and resigns, the better, because I haven't seen anyone spend taxpayers' money like it's confetti than Chris Bowen.”
