Malaysia's government is reviewing how prepared it is to confront cyber and geopolitical threats, amid a global rise in attacks on critical infrastructure. Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim told parliament that the country could be targeted, given its strong digital capabilities, and the stance it has taken on international issues.
