Cosmetics retailer Ulta Beauty has raised its annual sales and profit forecasts, expressing confidence that investments in marketing and product assortment will stimulate demand despite prevailing macroeconomic uncertainties. The company now projects full-year sales to increase between 6.7% and 7.2%, an upward revision from its previous forecast of 6% to 7%.
For fiscal 2026, Ulta Beauty anticipates comparable sales growth in the range of 3.2% to 3.7%, an improvement from the earlier projection of 2.5% to 3.5%. The company also updated its annual earnings per share outlook to be between $28.70 and $29, compared to its previous guidance of $28.36 to $28.80 per share.
In its fourth quarter and fiscal year results ending January 31, 2026, Ulta Beauty reported an 11.8% increase in net sales for the fourth quarter and a 9.7% rise for the full fiscal year. Comparable sales grew by 5.8% in the fourth quarter and 5.4% for the fiscal year. Diluted earnings per share were $8.01 for the fourth quarter and $25.64 for the fiscal year. The company also returned $890.5 million to shareholders through share repurchases during the fiscal year.
