Berezovska was found shot dead in Ukraine, and a Ukrainian intelligence officer, Vladyslav Reut, who initially confessed to her murder, has since changed his story. Reut now claims he did not pull the trigger and blames an accomplice, stating he was threatened. The bombing in Monaco targeted Ukrainian-born businessman Vadym Yermolayev and wounded three people.
