Law enforcement officials and a spokesperson for Vice President Kamala Harris confirmed that an individual was stopped by security personnel after trespassing on her Malibu property on Friday night. Neither Harris nor her husband, Doug Emhoff, were home at the time of the incident.
"Security personnel stopped an individual who illegally entered Vice-President Harris and Second Gentleman Emhoff’s property before the individual reached the home,” Harris spokesperson Eduardo Negrón said in a statement on Saturday. “Vice-President Harris and Second Gentleman Emhoff were not present. They are grateful to the security and law enforcement personnel who responded swiftly.”
