The ambitious, long-term project, led by the Sentosa Development Corporation (SDC), aims to integrate Sentosa with the neighboring Pulau Brani, creating a larger, more dynamic leisure destination.
The GSMP envisions a progressive expansion over the next two decades, introducing new iconic landmarks, reimagined beaches, and nature-centric developments. The plan seeks to enhance Singapore's appeal as a global travel hub, with a goal to double the number of visitors to the island. Key components include the development of Brani West as a major site for new attractions and the creation of spaces for hotels and unique experiences.
Developments are slated to begin rolling out from the early 2030s, aligning with the expansion of Changi Airport's Terminal 5. Resorts World Sentosa is also expanding, with a new Waterfront Lifestyle Development and Super Nintendo World scheduled for opening in 2030. Other planned attractions include Sensorium along Siloso Beach and Imbiah Canopy, which will feature dining, retail, and event spaces.
