The Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, experienced several air alerts, with Mayor Vitali Klitschko reporting one strike hit a non-residential building, injuring one person. In the southeastern city of Zaporizhzhia, Governor Ivan Fedorov stated that Russian forces attacked a market, causing a large fire. Another Russian attack in the southeastern city of Dnipro resulted in injuries to two people. Meanwhile, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin reported that 29 Ukrainian drones heading for the capital and its surrounding region were downed by air defense units.
