The survey, conducted from Tuesday to Thursday among 1,001 adults, indicated a 3 percentage point decrease from the previous week, marking the lowest point since Lee assumed office in June last year. The previous record low was 44% recorded two weeks prior.

Lee's disapproval rating rose by 5 percentage points to 50%. Among the reasons cited for positive assessments, diplomacy was mentioned by 16% of respondents, followed by the economy and people's livelihoods at 11%, and communication at 10%.

Conversely, 27% of those who negatively assessed Lee's performance pointed to his real estate policies. Other reasons included prosecution reform (7%), the economy and people's livelihoods (7%), and ethical issues (7%).

The ruling Democratic Party's approval rating also saw a decline, dropping 2 percentage points to 39% week-on-week. The main opposition People Power Party's approval rating remained unchanged at 25%.

The poll has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.1 percentage points at a 95% confidence level.
