Infosys, India's second-largest IT firm, announced on Saturday that it does not anticipate a significant impact from the US government's recent suspension of its Permanent Labor Certification (PERM) applications. The US government stated on Thursday that it was suspending several major global tech and IT companies, including Infosys, from the PERM program. This program allows skilled foreign workers to obtain permanent residency in the US through their employment.
In an exchange filing, Infosys expressed its willingness to cooperate with the Department of Labor and related government agencies to address any questions they may have.
