Indian authorities have recovered an emergency beacon and located a lifeboat associated with the Panama-flagged cargo ship MV Ocean Winner, which sank in the Bay of Bengal last week. The coast guard confirmed on Tuesday that no survivors were found among the 22 missing crew members.

Additional assets are being deployed to aid the search and rescue efforts. Earlier, two crew members were rescued late Saturday while three ships were deployed for surface searches. The rescued individuals are undergoing medical treatment.

The MV Ocean Winner was carrying iron ore from Paradip Port to China. The crew consisted of 20 Chinese nationals, three Myanmar nationals, and one Bangladeshi national. The ship sank approximately 276 miles (444 kilometers) off the Paradip coast in eastern Odisha state.
