Hong Kong and Indonesia can deepen their cooperation in green finance as their ties strengthen, according to Indonesia's special envoy for international trade, Mari Elka Pangestu. Pangestu, who is also the Indonesian president's special envoy for international trade, said that Hong Kong's common law expertise could assist Indonesia in its efforts to attract family offices. She also noted that Hong Kong serves as a crucial conduit for channeling investments from mainland China to the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean). Pangestu made these remarks to reporters before delivering a lecture at the University of Hong Kong on Wednesday.
