UK medical cannabis operator Grow Group has significantly expanded its distribution platform with the acquisition of Avida Medical Ltd, a licensed Specials manufacturer and distributor. The company will now operate under the rebranded name Grow Group UK, consolidating its services under a single, fully-owned entity.
This strategic move marks a shift towards a fully integrated UK medical cannabis distribution and manufacturing platform. Grow Group UK will offer a comprehensive suite of services for both domestic and international clients, including direct importation, wholesale and retail supply, specials formulation, third-party logistics, in-house manufacturing, pharmacy and clinic services, and regulatory consultancy.
The company has also concluded its joint venture with IPS Pharma in Grow Pharma Ltd, which has been dissolved by mutual consent after six years of operation. Grow Group UK's expanded flower portfolio includes popular brands and new additions, with plans to introduce manufactured products such as oils and vape cartridges.
