Japanese industrial automation company Fanuc and Google have developed an automated welding system that uses artificial-intelligence-equipped robots capable of working directly from blueprints, Nikkei has learned. The system, based on Google's Gemini Enterprise, can read blueprints, eliminating the need for manual programming. Deliveries of the new system are slated to begin in December.
