Dutch police arrested 34 suspects from several countries after a shooting in the early hours of Tuesday in Overasselt, a village in the east of the Netherlands. The incident resulted in one man being killed and two police officers being wounded.
According to Jolanda Aalbers, the head of the regional police, a large group of masked men opened fire when police arrived at a house following reports of suspicious activities. Among the arrested individuals were suspects from the Netherlands, Belgium, France, and Algeria, as stated by regional prosecutors.
