CrowdStrike said on November 3, 2026 that it will buy two AI security companies, Fiddler AI and Dreadnode, to widen its products for monitoring, testing and covering AI models and agents. The company is paying around $400 million for Fiddler AI and about $95 million for Dreadnode, according to The Wall Street Journal.
Fiddler AI makes observability software for monitoring AI agents inside enterprises. Dreadnode helps companies automate security testing aimed at detecting flaws in AI models, apps and agents before they are put into use. Fiddler AI will become part of CrowdStrike's Falcon platform as Falcon Observe, where the company says it will help clients evaluate agents before deployment, understand their actions and feed that information as telemetry into the broader platform. Dreadnode will be integrated into Falcon Guardian, a product CrowdStrike has been building for detection and response controls that show what agents are doing on devices, and will feed its testing results in as security policy recommendations.
The report described the deals as coming as companies' policies and processes lag behind AI adoption, with employees experimenting with AI tools, automating workflows and deploying AI agents. CrowdStrike's products are used across enterprises and governments. Fiddler AI was founded in 2018 and has raised about $99 million to date, according to PitchBook. Dreadnode was founded in 2023 and has raised $14 million so far.
