CME Group is expanding its cryptocurrency derivatives offering by planning to launch futures contracts for Bitcoin Cash and Uniswap. The new contracts, which will be available in both standard and micro sizes, are slated to debut on October 19, pending regulatory review. Bitcoin Cash futures will represent 250 BCH, with micro contracts at 25 BCH, while Uniswap futures will cover 10,000 UNI, and micro contracts at 1,000 UNI. This move follows CME's earlier introduction of futures for Cardano, Chainlink, Stellar, Avalanche, and Sui this year. Giovanni Vicioso, CME's global head of cryptocurrency products, stated that the new contracts are designed for capital efficiency and provide exposure to key crypto networks within a regulated environment. Bitcoin Cash is currently trading around $338, up over 25% on the day, and Uniswap's UNI token is priced at $9.28, up 5.5% in the last 24 hours. CME reported that its crypto futures and options averaged 279,800 contracts daily in the first half of 2026, with a notional volume of $8.3 billion.
