Smart ring maker Circular has introduced its new Ring 3 series, which includes two models: the Ring 3 Pro and the Ring 3 Slim. Both devices are equipped with an integrated NFC chip to facilitate contactless payments and feature on-finger vibration alerts for alarms and reminders.
The Ring 3 Pro boasts a slimmer design compared to its predecessor and incorporates FDA-cleared ECG for AFib detection, blood pressure trend tracking, glucose tracking, advanced sleep analysis, and comprehensive biometric monitoring. This model offers an extended battery life of up to 12 days, an improvement from the previous seven days.
The Ring 3 Slim is designed to be thinner and lighter than the Pro model, focusing on essential health and wellness tracking such as sleep, heart rate, HRV, SpO₂, skin temperature, and daily activity. It provides up to 10 days of battery life.
Circular CEO Amaury Kosman stated that the company recognized the need for a stylish smart ring that offers core wellness insights and convenient contactless payments, leading to the creation of the Ring 3 Slim. The on-finger vibrations on both models can be utilized for silent alarms, medication reminders, health alerts, and guided breathing exercises.
Both Ring 3 models are constructed from titanium steel, offer 50-meter water resistance, and support wireless charging. They will be available in sizes 6 through 14 and in colors including gold, rose gold, silver, and black. Circular plans to announce pricing and preorder details in the coming months, with the rings expected to launch in early 2027.
