Circle and SAP-backed Tereina have partnered to integrate their stablecoins, USDC and EURC, into enterprise payment workflows, beginning with SAP Pay and SAP Cloud ERP for eligible business customers. This collaboration aims to allow businesses to send and receive stablecoin payments directly from applications they already use, without needing a separate payment system.
USDC will be utilized for dollar transactions, while EURC will handle euro transactions. The integration is designed to provide finance teams with access to blockchain settlement through existing enterprise tools and treasury workflows. Circle's CEO, Jeremy Allaire, noted that stablecoins are increasingly becoming a component of global payment infrastructure, and this partnership is expected to help bring USDC and EURC into everyday business operations.
Tereina's CEO, Cedric Bru, stated the objective is to embed stablecoin payments as a native feature within enterprise applications. The companies also plan to conduct customer trials and provide staff training. Arc has been designated as the preferred blockchain for this payment setup, enabling businesses to leverage blockchain settlement while remaining within their familiar SAP-linked financial systems.
Circle has been expanding its presence in digital asset markets and is seeking greater regulatory access in key markets. The companies plan to initiate proof-of-value programs with select customers soon and will collaborate with ecosystem partners on payment settlement, treasury operations, and cross-border value movement.
