BASF and Bunge have announced an agreement for Bunge to process BASF's InVigor Gold canola seed, a hybrid canola-quality Brassica juncea designed for challenging growing conditions. This partnership is a significant step toward the commercialization of the seed, with BASF preparing for a U.S. launch in 2027. The InVigor Gold canola grain has been affirmed by the Federal Grain Inspection Service (FGIS) to meet canola-quality standards. Bunge's involvement, utilizing its processing facilities such as the one in Warden, Washington, aims to ensure reliable processing and market access for growers, thereby supporting the expansion and development of the North American canola industry.
