Candidates from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Congress have been elected unopposed to the Rajya Sabha from multiple Indian states. In Rajasthan, three candidates from the BJP and Congress secured seats without opposition. Similarly, in Karnataka, four candidates, including Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge, were elected unopposed.
In Andhra Pradesh, four candidates from the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), comprising three from the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and one from the Jana Sena party, were also declared elected unopposed. Arunachal Pradesh saw Tai Tagak elected unopposed to the lone Rajya Sabha seat. In Manipur, State BJP President Adhikarimayum Sharda Devi was declared elected unopposed for the Rajya Sabha seat. James Sangma, a leader of the National People's Party (NPP) and brother of Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma, was also officially declared elected unopposed to the Rajya Sabha from Meghalaya.
