Speaking at the 11th meeting of the Governing Council of NITI Aayog, Shah highlighted Modi's consistent and dedicated leadership over the past decade.
Shah emphasized that long-standing issues such as Naxalism, terrorism, and the abrogation of Article 370 have been resolved within the last 12 years. He characterized Modi's tenure as a 'golden era' marked by stability, continuity, and decisive action, noting the prime minister's tireless work ethic.
The Home Minister further stated that Modi's leadership has redefined Indian democracy by moving away from politics based on caste, dynasty, and appeasement towards a 'politics of performance' focused on development. He cited the repeal of Article 370 and 35A, the criminalization of triple talaq, the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), and the replacement of 160-year-old British laws with new Indian codes as significant achievements.

He also mentioned the honoring of forgotten freedom fighters and national heroes during Modi's time in office.
