A significant mudslide on the Tibetan side of the China-Nepal border has led to hundreds of foreign nationals being reported missing. Chinese authorities have identified 261 foreigners from 23 different countries as unaccounted for following the disaster. Among those missing are 104 Nepalis.
Separately, reports indicate that at least 41 Australians are missing due to flash floods in Nepal, including a child and a member of the Australian Defence Force. Additionally, 56 Ukrainians are reported missing, and the Ukrainian government is actively engaged in efforts to locate them.
