Airbus delivered 72 aircraft in September, according to a statement from the planemaker on Thursday. This brings the total deliveries for the first nine months of the year to 547, an 8% increase compared to the same period last year. Deliveries in September were broadly flat compared to the 73 planes delivered in the same month a year earlier. Despite earlier concerns over supply chain delays, Airbus reported around 72 deliveries for the month. The company is targeting approximately 870 deliveries for the full year, which would represent a 10% increase from the 793 deliveries in 2025. In terms of orders, Airbus sold 17 planes in September, bringing the total number of gross orders for the year so far to 1,174 jets. After accounting for three jet cancellations in September, Airbus posted 1,105 net orders for the first nine months.
