Writer & Broadcaster Esther Krakue condemns the release of prisoners held indefinitely for public protection. “It’s an insult to victims of crimes in the first place,” Ms Krakue told News24 host Chris Kenny. “He thinks letting prisoners out who are on IPP … which are prisoners that are being held indefinitely for the public’s protection. “Just shows that public protection and public safety are not high on his agenda. “It’s a disgrace, it’s an embarrassment.”
