GDP ‘has gone backwards’ under Labor

Professor Richard Holden from UNSW Business School says GDP “has gone backwards” under the Albanese Labor government. “GDP per capita is a pretty good measure of living standards … it’s gone backwards. No wonder people are feeling this kind of cost-of-living crisis,” Mr Holden told News24 host Chris Kenny. “Part of the engine behind that is these terrible productivity numbers.”
