Europe’s unrest causing unprecedented influence in US midterm elections

Commentator and royal expert Hilary Fordwich argues reports of unrest in France and elsewhere in Europe could influence Americans ahead of the midterms. “I will say in my lifetime, I don’t recall when actions and incidents in France had so much influence on an American election,” Ms Fordwich told News24 host Samara Gill. “I think what you’re seeing in the last few weeks is so many Americans that maybe they might have been on the fence are witnessing and seeing the horror that we’re seeing in terms of riots, not just across France but in other places in Europe. “They’re thinking, gosh, do we want that here? Absolutely not.”
