FBI investigating ‘sprawling conspiracy’ into Democratic ‘sham candidate’

US Attorney for Alaska Michael J Heyman says the recent report of the Democrats in Alaska looking to push a “sham candidate” is “deeply troubling”. “Every Alaskan deserves a fair election,” Mr Heyman said. “Anyone who tries to illegally deceive voters and deceive voters will answer for it. “We are aware of the recent New York Times reporting regarding the Peltola campaign … that they orchestrated a sprawling conspiracy to recruit and prop up Daniel J Sullivan as a sham candidate, and we are taking that extremely seriously.”
