‘Absolutely panicked’: Chris Minns distances himself as Albanese’s popularity freefalls

Former Liberal MP Jason Falinski says New South Wales Premier Chris Minns looks “absolutely panicked” as Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s approval ratings remain low. “He’s looking at some of these polls in some of these seats, even in Western Sydney … and he’s basically saying that people hate the Prime Minister, so he’s trying to say, oh, I’m not the prime minister,” Mr Falinski told News24. “If Chris Minns isn’t a mate of Albo, then, I mean, Mike Newman isn’t, and Kellie Sloane definitely isn’t.”
