Self-radicalisation remains key driver of Singapore's domestic terrorism threat: ISD

The terrorism threat to Singapore remains high, with overseas conflicts continuing to fuel security concerns. At least one person linked to a terror group tried to visit Singapore in recent years. In its latest threat assessment, the Internal Security Department warns that self-radicalisation remains the key driver of the domestic terrorism threat, with youth radicalisation an increasing concern. ISD added that tackling the threat requires a whole-of-society effort, from disrupting threats to community vigilance.
