NParks seizes 101 illegally kept wildlife in islandwide raids targeting six people

The National Parks Board has seized 101 illegally kept wildlife specimens during raids targeting six people across Singapore. It is the largest of such seizures in recent years. Among them are pig-nosed turtles, ball pythons and leopard geckos. The haul also includes species that are threatened or endangered. All are non-native and cannot legally be sold or kept as pets in Singapore. The animals are now in quarantine at a facility for wildlife rehabilitation.
