Singapore launches over 200 training courses with free AI subscriptions, new skills centre

More than 200 AI courses are being offered by the newly formed Skills and Workforce Development Agency. Singaporeans who attend eligible courses can get six months' free access to premium AI tools. A new centre called Connect by SWDA offers career, skills and workforce support to individuals and employers. Speaking at the opening, Prime Minister Lawrence Wong said the government's task is to ensure Singaporeans are equipped, rather than overwhelmed by changes in technology and the workforce.
