Key facts
- XRP holders can now borrow Ripple's RLUSD stablecoin on Ethereum by using Flare's FXRP as collateral.
XRP holders can now leverage their holdings on Ethereum without selling them, using Flare's FXRP as collateral to borrow Ripple's RLUSD stablecoin on the Morpho lending protocol. This opens a new isolated market for FXRP within Sentora's $280 million RLUSD vault.

This integration provides XRP holders with a new avenue to access DeFi liquidity without liquidating their assets, potentially increasing XRP's utility and adoption within the Ethereum ecosystem.
XRP holders can now access liquidity on the Ethereum network by using their holdings as collateral, without needing to sell their XRP. Flare's wrapped XRP token, FXRP, has been approved by Sentora to serve as collateral in a $280 million lending pool for Ripple's RLUSD stablecoin on the Morpho Blue protocol. This development allows XRP holders to borrow RLUSD against their FXRP, retaining exposure to XRP's price movements while gaining access to dollar-pegged liquidity. Sentora, which operates the vault, conducted a thorough review of FXRP's market behavior, oracle design, liquidity, and liquidation capacity before granting approval. Flare is working on streamlining the process for users to manage FXRP directly from their XRP Ledger wallets. This integration aims to increase XRP's utility in decentralized finance (DeFi) and supports Ripple's strategy for RLUSD in enterprise and cross-border payments.
