A Ukrainian drone attack killed one person and injured three in Russia’s southern Krasnodar region, with drone debris sparking a fire at a sea terminal. Local Governor Veniamin Kondratyev confirmed the incident, which targeted the Tamanneftegaz oil and gas terminal, reportedly damaging five fuel tanks and two oil loading stands.
Ukraine's military and its SBU security service claimed responsibility for the strike. In a separate incident, Ukraine's General Staff stated that its forces hit an oil preparation and pumping station overnight in Russia’s Volgograd region. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy previously mentioned Ukrainian forces striking military and energy infrastructure sites deep inside Russia, including a military factory over 900 kilometers from the front line.
Russia has also continued its attacks within Ukraine, with regional authorities reporting over 20 drone and aerial bomb attacks on the Dnipropetrovsk region, injuring nine people and causing fires.
