The research, conducted by Radical Storage, a luggage storage network, identified attractions that frequently receive negative feedback regarding crowds, poor value for money, and experiences that fail to meet expectations.
Alton Towers received 38.2% negative reviews, with a significant portion specifically complaining about value for money. The study noted improvements from the previous year, where 49.4% of reviews were negative.
Following Alton Towers, the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta and the Horseshoe Casino in Louisiana, both in the United States, were ranked as the second and third most disappointing attractions, respectively. The Széchenyi Baths and Pool in Budapest, Hungary, also appeared on the list, with 16.6% of reviews being negative, largely due to crowding and accessibility issues.
