Slovenia Approves Tesla's FSD System Ahead of EU Vote

Tesla announced the development on the social media platform X, stating that "FSD Supervised now approved in Slovenia. Rollout will begin soon." CEO Elon Musk reposted the announcement, and Slovenia's Energy and Infrastructure Minister Jernej Vrtovec also shared the news.

The Netherlands was the first EU country to provisionally approve FSD in early April, allowing its use on roads provided drivers remain attentive. Tesla has indicated that an EU-wide vote on the system could occur as early as October 6, following the release of a self-produced dataset from its European and North American testing.

In addition to the Netherlands and Slovenia, four other European countries have already approved Tesla's driver-assistance system. Finland and Greece are reportedly considering similar approvals. France, which had previously raised safety concerns in July, has commenced testing two FSD-equipped vehicles after what its transport minister described as a "constructive exchange" with Musk.
