REMAX CEO Erik Carlson will step down following The Real Brokerage's acquisition of REMAX Holdings and join the new entity's board. Jenna Rozenblat will become president of the Real REMAX Group.

The leadership changes and pending acquisition signal a significant shift in the real estate brokerage landscape, with key executives departing and a new corporate structure emerging.
REMAX CEO Erik Carlson plans to step down once The Real Brokerage's acquisition of REMAX Holdings is finalized, and he is expected to join the board of the newly formed Real REMAX Group. Jenna Rozenblat, currently Real's chief operating officer and chief integration officer, will assume the role of president of the Real REMAX Group.
Reports also indicate that Chris Lim, REMAX's chief growth officer and president, and Travis Saxton, the firm's executive vice president of strategy, intend to leave the company. Lim and Saxton reportedly began their current roles in January 2025.
Shareholders from both Real and REMAX have approved the proposed acquisition, which was initially announced in April 2026. However, the deal's closure is still subject to remaining conditions, including a final order from the Supreme Court of British Columbia. Both companies anticipate the closing to occur shortly after all conditions are met, potentially within the next few weeks.
