NUVA has selected Chainlink as its exclusive data infrastructure provider for its real-world asset marketplace, aiming to connect a $19 billion market of housing credit and short-term financing with the Ethereum DeFi ecosystem.
This integration bridges traditional finance assets, specifically housing credit, with the DeFi ecosystem, potentially unlocking new investment opportunities and increasing liquidity for real-world assets by leveraging blockchain technology and reliable data feeds.
NUVA has integrated Chainlink as its exclusive data infrastructure provider to connect its real-world asset (RWA) marketplace with the Ethereum decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystem. This collaboration aims to bring a $19 billion market of housing credit and short-term financing onto the blockchain.
Chainlink's role will be to supply on-chain data for the assets available through NUVA. This data is crucial for DeFi protocols to accurately value assets, price collateral, and manage lending positions, especially for assets like housing loans that do not have continuous real-time pricing on exchanges.
The integration initially focuses on NUVA's nvPRIME product, a private credit vault that offers investors exposure to short-term financing backed by residential housing loans, including U.S. home equity lines of credit. This product targets yields above 7%.
NUVA's marketplace, co-created with Animoca Brands, launched on Ethereum in May 2026. At its inception, it connected assets from Figure Technologies and Provenance Blockchain with Ethereum applications. Figure Technologies provides the underlying lending infrastructure for the housing-related assets, while NUVA acts as the Ethereum distribution layer.
Alongside nvPRIME, NUVA also offers nvYLDS, a yield-focused product supported by short-term U.S. Treasuries and bank deposits. Both products operate on Ethereum, allowing users to access tokenized financial products within the DeFi ecosystem without needing to move assets to other networks.
