Nottingham Forest has reportedly terminated the contract of Edu Gaspar, who held the position of global head of football. Gaspar joined the Premier League club in July 2025, but his tenure has concluded after approximately 14 months.
Reports suggest a strained relationship between Gaspar and club owner Evangelos Marinakis, with some suggesting Nuno Espirito Santo, the former Forest manager, viewed Gaspar as an intermediary between the coach and the owner. Gaspar's name has since been removed from the club's official website.
Gaspar, a former Arsenal player who was part of their "invincible" squad in the 2003-04 season, also played for Valencia and Corinthians before concluding his playing career.
