Leading Real Estate Companies of the World (LeadingRE) has expanded its global network by adding 20 new member brokerages in the first half of 2026. This growth brings the total number of independently owned firms in the network to over 500, spanning six continents. The expansion is driven by local firms seeking to compete more effectively in an increasingly global and selective market.
The new members are located across North America, Latin America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific. This affiliation model allows member firms to access a global referral platform, shared marketing, technology, and training resources while maintaining their ownership, operational control, and local branding. This approach is designed to help broker-owners tap into cross-border demand and relocation flows without relinquishing independence or incurring franchise fees.
Kate Reisinger, Chief Operating Officer of LeadingRE, highlighted the importance of local expertise in changing market cycles, noting that these companies are deeply embedded in their communities. Chris Dietz, President of Global Operations at LeadingRE, stated that the expansion enhances cross-border business among members, allowing them to act as local experts within a global ecosystem.
With this expansion, LeadingRE now represents more than 500 firms and approximately 129,000 real estate professionals in over 70 countries. The network affiliation is also seen as a valuable tool for brokerages in recruiting and retaining top agents who are increasingly competing for global and relocation clients, as well as international investors.
