Several other sitting GOP chairs, including Agriculture’s G.T. Thompson and Armed Services’ Mike Rogers, are expected to seek waivers to keep their coveted gavels. Jordan brushed off questions about why he would not join them in overseeing high-profile matters like the Justice Department and immigration law, simply stating, "I’m just not going to do it."
