South Korean sailor Ha Jee-min secured his fourth Asian Games gold medal and the country's first in sailing at the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games on Friday. The competition took place at Kaiyoh Yacht Harbor in Gamagori. Ha finished first in the men's dinghy event, adding to his previous gold medals from the 2010, 2014, and 2018 Games, and a silver from the 2022 edition. In the final races, Ha scored nine points without penalty points, after finishing third in the first race and sixth in the second. Halliday Nicholas Bezy of Hong Kong claimed the silver medal with 11 points, having won the first final race and finished third in the second. Khairulnizam Mohd Afendy of Malaysia secured the bronze medal.
