Emirates has introduced a new premium economy seat that includes an electric privacy screen, a feature previously reserved for first and business class travelers. The airline unveiled the seat on Thursday, highlighting its ability to extend to the full height of the seat, offering enhanced privacy.
Beyond the privacy divider, the new seat boasts electric controls for reclining and legrest adjustment, a cradle recline position that avoids intruding on the passenger behind, and the U-Dream headrest with side wings designed to support the neck. This headrest was previously revealed for the economy cabin and described as a 'game changer' for sleep.
Additional amenities include wireless charging capabilities and a 13.3-inch 4K seatback screen. The tray table also features an integrated phone holder, providing a secondary screen option.
