A Delta Air Lines flight en route from Barcelona to Boston made an emergency landing in Porto, Portugal, on Sunday afternoon after smoke was detected in the cabin. The flight, DL251, operated by an Airbus A330, diverted to Porto where it landed safely. According to Portugal's emergency and civil protection authority, 14 passengers required medical assistance on the tarmac, and four were taken to the Hospital de São João for treatment of smoke inhalation. The flight had departed Barcelona at 3:15 p.m. GMT with 296 people on board and landed in Porto at 5:45 p.m. GMT.
