The Canton Foundation has awarded RedStone nearly 15.8 million Canton Coin, valued at approximately $1.55 million, to fund the development of an open-source pricing tool. This initiative, announced on Thursday, aims to establish a shared privacy and licensing framework for the Canton Network. The tool, known as the Canton Access and Privacy Standard (CAPS), will allow institutions to utilize shared market prices for transaction valuation without revealing specific settlement amounts to data providers. RedStone, which has been providing pricing data on Canton since December 2025, will focus initial development on tokenized funds, private-market assets, and structured products. The pricing calculations and licensing module will be released under the Apache 2.0 open-source license.
