Burnham announced his intention to visit the United States in September, coinciding with the UN General Assembly, to lobby President Donald Trump. The primary focus of this lobbying effort will be to secure access to U.S. stockpiles of Patriot missiles, addressing Ukraine's critical shortage of air defense capabilities amidst intensified Russian bombardments.
