Bunge Global SA announced on October 30, 2026 that it had closed its acquisition of Central Washington Corn Processors, Inc., a feed processing and bulk-commodity handling company in Richland, Washington. The announcement, dated from St. Louis, Missouri, did not disclose a purchase price or other financial terms.
Bunge described CWCP as a leading provider of feed processing services in the Pacific Northwest. According to the company, CWCP operates a bulk-commodity handling facility that supports distribution of grain and oilseed products to dairies, ranches, feedlots and commercial customers. Bunge said the site has dual access to the BNSF and Union Pacific rail networks and offers unloading, storage and processing capacity.
"This transaction represents an important step in expanding Bunge's feed solutions footprint and strengthening our ability to serve customers in the Pacific Northwest and support continued growth in the region's livestock and dairy sectors," said Rayner Freyberg, Bunge's US Country Manager.
CWCP was established in 2002, according to its website. The company's site lists 45,000 tons of covered storage capacity in a 143,250-square-foot building and 2.1 million bushels of grain storage capacity. CWCP says the facility is located in the Port of Benton off the City of Richland's main rail line, providing direct service from BNSF and Union Pacific, and that truck traffic from Interstates 82, 90 and 84 converges at the site.
