Bright MLS has activated its live integration with Ocusell's listing network, the two organizations announced on Tuesday, November 3, 2026. Brokers and agents who work across multiple multiple listing services in the Mid-Atlantic can enter and edit a listing once and push it into Bright and other participating MLSs, the companies said, avoiding duplicate data entry.
The launch is the first product milestone from a joint venture Bright MLS and Ocusell formed in 2025, according to the announcement. It introduces OneList, a listing input platform built on the Ocusell Network and designed to give brokerages and MLSs a single connected listing interface nationwide.
In practice, agents create or modify a listing in Ocusell, where the data is checked against MLS rules, and the compliance-checked record is sent to Bright and other destination MLSs. The companies said the system preserves each MLS's existing rules, data structures and subscriber entitlements.
Bright MLS President and CEO Brian Donnellan said the joint venture was intended to remove friction from brokers' and agents' daily work. Steve Mapes, executive in charge of growth strategy at Bright MLS, said agents freed from double data entry have more time to serve clients. Hayden Rieveschl, CEO of Ocusell, said MLSs can remove barriers for brokerages that operate across markets.
Ocusell says its network is already live across 30 MLSs, and it is positioning the Bright launch, at one of the nation's largest MLSs, as a scalable answer to multi-MLS entry. The launch comes as the Open Real Estate initiative runs a national request for proposals seeking a vendor for input-once, distribute-everywhere listing entry.
Ocusell said its infrastructure can cut listing creation time by up to 75% and prevent more than 85% of compliance errors. The companies said OneList will add AI-driven compliance and Fair Housing screening, automated photo tagging and organization, and listing promotion tools launched from the listing workflow. Ocusell said the integration is live for active Bright MLS brokerages that manage listings across multiple markets.
