"Widow's Bay" won six awards during the primetime ceremony, including outstanding comedy series, lead comedy actor (Matthew Rhys), supporting comedy actor (Stephen Root), supporting comedy actress (Kate O’Flynn), comedy writing, and comedy directing. This haul added to the eight Creative Arts honors it had already received, including guest comedy actress (Betty Gilpin), comedy casting, and music supervision. The show's 14 wins set a new record for a comedy series in a single year.
