Sri Lanka leveled the three-match Twenty20 series against the West Indies with a 37-run victory in Kingston, Jamaica. After being put in to bat, Sri Lanka posted a competitive total of 194-6, anchored by unbeaten half-centuries from Kamil Mishara (61 off 40 balls) and Dasun Shanaka (58 off 24 balls). The pair shared a crucial 101-run partnership.
In response, the West Indies struggled early, falling to 9-2. A 82-run stand between Shimron Hetmyer (36 off 26 balls) and Rovman Powell (43 off 26 balls) offered some recovery. However, the momentum shifted decisively when Hetmyer was run out and Powell was caught shortly after. Wanindu Hasaranga took three wickets for 38 runs, including two in consecutive deliveries, while Dushmantha Chameera claimed three wickets for just 9 runs, effectively sealing the win for Sri Lanka as the hosts were limited to 157.
This victory evens the T20 series after the West Indies won the first match. Sri Lanka had also won the preceding ODI series 1-0, with two matches washed out.
